There are few areas in the UK when snow cover makes it difficult to operate a pushchair or wheelchair. But for those few days when we do get snow these wheelchair skis can make the difference so you are still able to get out.
The wheelchair skis attach firmly to the 6" (15cm) front wheels on the Ergo Lightweight Pushchair with a tensioned metal bracket and cinch strap. They take less than a minute to attach/remove.
They can be fitted to many other wheelchairs and adjusted for different front wheel sizes.
Note. they cannot be fitted on products with pairs of wheels (we have tried). The photos show the pushchair without the footplates so that the skis can be seen clearly but the footplates would be fitted in normal use.
IMPORTANT. These wheelchair skis are not intended for recreational use, skiing, just basic mobility. For recreation or full season use you can get more substantial wheelchair skis
